Simulates alternative load profiles to simulate various loading schemes or product location plans for both manufactured and sourced products.  Identifies critical conditions and communicates optional strategies.

2.      Administers inventory model to monitor trends, simulate future plans, and implement countermeasures.  Develops the metrics for the manufacturing locations to follow.

3.      Communicates, directs and facilitates production and materials control tactics to achieve customer delivery goals, inventory, and efficiency objectives.

4.      Develops, analyzes, and leads sales and operations resources planning model integration – customer volume trend, inventory, and operations resource planning. Work with sales leaders on a daily basis.

5.      Works with plant managers, materials managers, and plant controllers developing production and inventory control strategies using MRP data and information. Trains personnel as necessary.

6.      Provides tactical production and inventory control direction and leadership support, as needed to the plant and supplier sites.

7.      Leads and facilitates international make-buy and total cost assessments.

8.      Facilitates product availability and capacity analysis for significant customer increase requests.  Develops customer capacity survey analysis. Supports sales executives with direct customer communications regarding capacity and availability.

QUALIFICATIONS

BS in Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or  BA in business with extensive hands on experience.

Certification at the CPIM level by the American Production Inventory Control Society. 

Minimum 10 years of materials management experience in high volume consumer products manufacturing and assembly. Demonstrated hands on management experience of warehouse operations, logistics operations, inventory control, master scheduling, supply chain demand management, and MRPII systems administration. MRP II implementation experience and JDE experience is a big plus.

Strong quantitative business analysis and systems modeling skills.  Ability to query databases and extract data for analysis in spreadsheets. Statistical model building skills is a plus
