Detailed Description

The primary responsibility of the Insight and Research team is to develop key insights to inform integrated merchandising, marketing, marketing, and operational strategies through a deep understanding of the business and consumer members.

As the Senior Manager, you help create the data portraying how our customers think, feel, and believe about their experience.  Integrating with your Analytics Insights team partners, you will also synthesize this data about our customers’ motivations, their behaviors, and the competitive context to create and communicate ideas and insights.

In short, you and your team are a day-to-day voice of our customers to our internal clients.

You will conduct, commission, and decrypt primary research (quantitative and qualitative); create innovative research and “listening” approaches; leverage the insights from our syndicated research and academic partners; develop and communicate customer experience recommendations for marketing, merchandising, and operations; and manage the library of customer knowledge assets for the business.

Qualifications

This position is part of a group working on high priority, next generation capabilities and campaigns. This position has two key functions; the first is to work with the Account Managers to understand marketing strategy and the resulting campaign program requirements, and the second is to take the goals and requirements from business groups and build marketing campaigns using new cutting edge internal capabilities combined with Sears’ world class CRM tools.
